Untuk melihat obyek yang ditangkap, Anda hanya dapat melakukannya melalui layar TFT LCD 2,4” dengan membukanya. Anda dapat memutar layarnya sampai 270 derajat.

Secara default piranti ini akan berfungsi sebagai video recorder. Anda dapat mengubahnya dengan menekan tombol mode. Karena lebih ditujukan untuk pengguna awam, praktis tidak ada pilihan manual yang berarti yang diberikannya. Jadi sebaiknya digunakan saat cahaya yang ada cukup terang.

Canon Meluncurkan Jajaran Camcorder Digital Baru nan Canggih. Camcorder Canon ini agak berat ke sisi kanan. Maklum, di situlah tempat kaset miniDV-nya, yang juga akan kita cengkeram saat mengoperasikan camcorder.

Seperti biasa pada produk Canon, menu on-screen-nya jelas, dan tataletak tombolnya cukup baik. Tombol Record dan Play diberi pengenal, sementara tombol-tombol lain yang sering dipakai mudah dicapai. Untuk review cepat, pengaturan audio dan exposure, tersedia sebuah joystick kecil. Port mikropon eksternal dan lampu video juga tersedia. Konektor HDMI, FireWire, USB, Hotshoe? Juga ada.

LCD camcorder ini cukup terang dilihat pada kondisi cahaya matahari. Namun jika terasa kurang jelas, kita tinggal menambah tingkat brightness – walaupun ini berarti menguras daya batere sekitar 10 menit.

HV30 menggunakan kendali otofokus InstantAF yang menggunakan sensor eksternal kedua di bagian depan camcorder untuk menyesuaikan fokus kasar sehingga prosesor utama cuma perlu mengurusi fokus secara halus. Alhasil fokus HV30 cukup cepat, kendati belum tentu sesuai dengan yang kita inginkan. Jika tidak membutuhkannya, nonaktifkan saja fasilitas itu. Toh, kita bisa mengatur fokus secara manual dengan tombol Focus. Namun menurut kami penempatan tombol yang di depan layar LCD yang terbuka itu kurang tepat. Sebab saat dibutuhkan, kita harus meraba-raba untuk memutarnya ke atas/bawah.

Yang menarik, kita bisa merekam klip ala bioskop – 25 frame progresif per detik - di sini. Dikombinasikan dengan modus Cine, wah hasilnya - efek motion blur ala film - bisa menakjubkan. Namun jika kita menyerahkan segalanya ke modus rekam default HDV, hasil rekamannya akan menjadi 1920x1080i.

Pada modus makro maupun dengan zoom optikal 10X-nya, hasil bidikan tampak sangat baik. Warna tampak seimbang dan sesuai aslinya. Detailnya tajam. Graininess atau noise absen/kurang kendati kondisi cahaya kurang mendukung. Pada kondisi ini, otofokusnya agak kurang baik bekerja.

Yang menarik, kita bisa membuat ponsel membacakan nama yang tertera di Contacts. Setting-nya ada di Phone Book * Settings * Human Voice Prompt. Fitur ini sangat berguna saat hendak menelepon sambil menyetir mobil. Selain Caller Ring Tone dan Caller Picture, di ponsel ini ada pula Caller Video. K-Touch masih memasukkan AntiSteal, Black List dan SMS Firewall.

Selain SMS dan MMS, ponsel bisa dipakai untuk ber-e-mail, Chat atau Voice MMS. Sebagian pengguna SMS mungkin perlu mencatat hal ini: bila butuh menyimpan salinan pesan yang dikirim, hanya bisa dibuat dari Write Message. Jadi, me-reply SMS di Inbox tak meninggalkan salinan di Outbox.

Kamera tidak disertai apa-apa, dan bisa diaktifkan dengan memencet tombol kamera di kanan bodi, yang langsung membuka Camera. Seperti biasa, fungsi foto (Camera) dan video (Video Recorder) terpisah dan tak ada pintasan penghubung. Setting bisa disetel dari icon yang terpampang di layar sentuh. Foto bisa diambil dengan resolusi maksimal 640x480, sedangkan video tak tersedia opsi resolusi. Oya, video yang diputar di Video Player masih bisa "dipotret" lagi dengan icon bergambar kamera di pojok kiri bawah.

Speaker bisa didapati di kiri-kanan kamera. Tombol volumenya ada di kiri bodi. Di ponsel ada Equalizer untuk membantu kualitas suara.

Ponsel ini berlayar sentuh. Namun tak akan ditemukan stylus di bagian bodi mana pun. Seperti beberapa seri sebelumnya, stylus yang disediakan berupa batangan yang bisa digantung mirip asesori ponsel. Layar sentuh ini sendiri bisa "dikunci" sehingga sentuhan tak bisa digunakan untuk mengoperasikan menu. Caranya, tinggal aktifkan Touch Panel Lock di Touch Panel Setting, dan ponsel jadi terasa "normal" layaknya ponsel biasa. Seperti biasa, di ponsel ini masih ada fitur goyang-goyang ala K-Touch untuk mengganti wallpaper.

Ada sensor cahaya di pojok kiri atas layar. Yang lebih unik lagi, kita bisa menyetel Status LED supaya berkedip dengan pola tertentu. Ini bisa disetel dari User Profiles. Nanti perhatikan kiri-kanan layar, di bagian ada aksen perak. Mirip lampu disko kan?

Sisi bawah layar sentuh tetap didominasi icon permanen bergambar rumah (untuk kembali ke menu awal), amplop (Messages), buku terbuka (Phone Book), telepon (keypad virtual), nada (User Profiles).

Kebetulan pada unit demo yang diterima Sinyal, slot MicroSD tidak terisi. Agaknya kartu memori tambahan tidak disertakan dalam paket.

Yang juga agak berbeda di ponsel ini adalah cara manual mengunci keypad. Di sini, tombol End Call harus dipencet, lalu langsung pencet Call. Sebaliknya, untuk membuka keypad, pencet menu kanan dan pencet Call.

K-Touch E60 Handphone dilengkapi Fitur PictBridge

Jangan heran apabila awal dari produk handphone dari Cina berasal dari industri rumahan yang kemudian berkembang dengan seiring dukungan pemerintah. Cina bertekad menjadi salah satu negara yang paling aktif mengembangkan Teknologi, Teknologi Cina dinilai cukup maju dalam menghasilkan produk-produk hasil usaha kecil dan menengah.Berbeda dengan kebanyakan ponsel yang pernah Sinyal coba, kamera pada ponsel K-Touch E60 dilengkapi penutup sehingga lebih aman dan bersih dari debu. Tinggal geser-putar ke kiri atau kanan untuk menutup atau membuka, tapi itu tak otomatis mengaktifkan fungsi kamera.

Lampu di dekat kamera sebetulnya diutamakan sebagai senter, meskipun dipakai pula sebagai lampu tambahan. Tombol kamera pun berfungsi ganda. Jika hanya dipencet sekali, ponsel akan mengaktifkan kamera. Tetapi bila tombol dipencet-tahan, lampu akan menyala sebagai senter. O ya, ada sensor cahaya di kiri atas layar.

Diklaim beresolusi 3MP, kita dapat mengambil foto berukuran maksimal 2048x1536 dan video berukuran maksimal 352x288. Yang patut dicatat dari setting untuk foto adalah adanya moda Close-Up di Scene Mode. Setting lain, foto maupun video, masih sama seperti umumnya ponsel lokal.

Di Camera, kita bisa mengatur setting dengan mengetuk icon di layar (termasuk menjepret foto); atau pencet keypad sesuai angka yang tertera di depan icon tadi. O ya, lensa telah dilengkapi auto-focus; tetapi agaknya hanya berfungsi di Camera.

Fasilitas pendamping yang penting diketahui adalah PictBridge. Ini sangat praktis untuk cetak foto tanpa perantaraan PC. Tinggal hubungkan ponsel via kabel data ke printer, lalu pilih PictBridge di USB Config. Bluetooth di ponsel ini bisa dipakai untuk Answering Call via Bluetooth, Listen MP3 via Bluetooth Headset dan Transfer File. Slot MicroSD tersembunyi di balik batere sehingga menyulitkan mereka yang senang cabut-pasang kartu.

Layar sentuh cukup lega untuk melihat foto maupun menonton video. Layar tidak dikorupsi oleh deretan icon permanen. Namun saat ponsel menyala, sisi bawah layar tetap ditempati deretan icon bergambar empat titik (menu utama), amplop (Messages), telepon (keypad virtual), dan orang (all contacts). Stylus yang tersimpan di ujung bawah kanan bodi mudah dijangkau. Adanya menu TV out seharusnya memungkinkan kita "menampilkan" isi layar di TV. Namun Sinyal tidak melihat port atau konektor untuk TV tersebut.

Yang menarik, navigasi berupa joystick. Namun fungsi pintasan tetap serupa, yaitu geser ke atas membuka Audio Player, bawah membuka Search Entry, kiri membuka Message History, dan kanan membuka Bluetooth. Semua pintasan dapat diubah dari Dedicated key. Memencet joystick di tengah akan membuka Shortcuts.

Tombol di atas tombol Call diperuntukkan FM Radio, sementara tombol di atas tombol End Call diperuntukkan Fun & Games. Sinyal tidak menemukan cara untuk mengubah pintasannya. Keypad bersusun 4 tombol untuk ke-3 baris. Jika membuka kunci keypad masih dengan memencet menu kanan lalu pencet Call, maka menguncinya agak beda : pencet End Call, lalu pencet Call.

Suara agaknya diberi perhatian lebih oleh K-Touch. Ada speaker tambahan di kiri-kanan bawah kamera. Tombol volume 2-arah di kiri bodi lebih nyaman bagi mereka yang kidal. Equalizer di unit demo yang Sinyal terima mantap dalam memoles suara yang dihasilkan. Masih soal efek suara, ada lagi Call Background Sound, Reverb Effect dan 3D Surround. Sekadar catatan, Reverb Effect dan 3D Surround tak bisa dipakai bersamaan.

Di luar itu, ada Time Speaker (khusus bahasa Cina) yang "membacakan" jam, InCallLeaveWord sebagai mesin penjawab telepon, Tts (Text to speech) yang membacakan nomor telepon, dan ASR (Automated Speech Recognition) dan Human Voice Prompt. Radio di ponsel bisa dijadwal agar aktif sesuai jadwal yang kita mau; selain merekam terjadwal.

K-Touch A7713 Handphone Minimalis Namun Kualitas Tidak Minim

Selain mengenalkan ponsel berkamera 8 megapiksel, K-Touch juga bakal meluncurkan 4 ponsel terbarunya. Tentunya, masing-masing ponsel mengusung keunggulan tersendiri dibanding ponsel sejenis. Ponsel-ponsel ini antara lain: K-Touch A7713, A660, D770 dan DT80.K-Touch A660 merupakan ponsel multimedia dengan casing metal di back cover-nya. Dengan casing seperti itu, tampilan produk ini menjadi lebih elegan dan terlihat futuristik.SMS bisa diketik sampai 612 karakter per pesan. Handwriting tetap dapat dipakai untuk menulis pesan. Seperti biasa, reply pesan di Inbox tak meninggalkan salinan di Outbox. Untuk bertelepon, K-Touch hanya menyiapkan Caller Picture dan Caller Ring Tone. Tapi tetap ada Schedule Power On/Off.

Ada Leave Word; ketika ini diaktifkan, Waiting Time-nya bisa disetel antara 15-50 detik. Untuk Prompt Tone, tersedia opsi 2 Preset Tone dan Custom Tone hasil rekaman sendiri. Ingin mengisengi penelepon? Ada Background Call Sound di ponsel ini. Sayang, hanya 5 slot yang tersedia, dan 3 slot diantaranya sudah diisi sendiri oleh K-Touch. Di ponsel ini juga tersedia Theft Track (anti maling).

Untuk seri dual on, diperkenalkan juga K-Touch D770. Ponsel ini dapat berjalan di dua jaringan GSM sekaligus. Dan bukan hanya itu, pada kedua SIM Card GSM dapat juga disetting GPRS/MMS

K-Touch juga memperkenalkan seri DT08, yang dapat berjalan pada dua jaringan GSM sekaligus. Ponsel ini ditambahkan dengan fitur TV analog yang menjadi fitur unggulan. Seperti sudah diketahui kemampuan fitur TV ponsel-ponsel K-TOUCH selama ini dikenal sangat baik dalam menangkap sinyal dan menampilkan kualitas gambar.

HiTech produk asli negara Indonesia ? pasti pertanyaan yang sama di benak anda. Hitech Mobile adalah vendor ponsel baru dengan merek lokal (ponsel merek Indonesia) walaupun Hitech Mobile adalah merek baru, orang-orang yg bergerak di dalamnya adalah orang lama. PT. Tirta Citra Nusantara sebagai pemegang merek dan distributor & PT. Dian Graha Elektrika sebagai pengelola layanan purna jual sudah berkecimpung dalam dunia ponsel Indonesia lebih dari 10 tahun sebagai ATPM dan distributor merek-merek internasional. Pada unit demo yang Sinyal terima, slot kartu yang kiri ditandai SIM2 dan yang kanan ditandai SIM1. Bagi Sinyal, ini sedikit mengganggu, karena SIM berkonotasi GSM; padahal ponsel ini mengusung GSM-CDMA. Ingat baik-baik, pasang UIMcard di kiri dan SIMcard di kanan. Kalau salah pasang, ponsel tidak berfungsi; khususnya telepon, SMS dan Phone Book.

SIM card bisa diakses via Bluetooth menggunakan Remote SIM Mode di Entertainment > Extra > Bluetooth > Setting. Phone2, alias nomor CDMA, bisa disetel agar otomatis aktif saat ponsel dinyalakan. Buka Settings > Dual Phone Setting, lalu pilih Open di Auto Power On Phone2. Ada juga setting Manually Power On/Off (Open/Close).

HiTech memisahkan Call Setup : Call Setup untuk GSM dan Phone2 Call Setup untuk CDMA. H71 hanya menyediakan Caller Picture dan Caller Ring Tone. Sementara Schedule Power On/Off dan Flight Mode tetap ada.

Bertelepon pun gampang karena HiTech memberikan sepasang tombol Call; yang kiri (bertanda G) untuk nomor GSM dan yang kanan (bertanda C) untuk nomor CDMA. Tombol End Call-nya pun sepasang. Tetapi yang sekaligus berfungsi sebagai tombol On-Off hanyalah yang kanan.

Di Inbox, SMS dari CDMA bisa dibedakan dengan dari GSM dari huruf C di depan pesan. Seperti biasa, me-reply pesan di Inbox tak meninggalkan salinan di Outbox. Kita bisa menyalin atau memindah SMS antara ponsel dan kartu. Tetapi di Phone book, kita bisa menyalin data nomor antarkartu, selain antara memori ponsel dan kartu.

TV adalah ciri khas HiTech. Ponsel ini pun tak lupa menyediakan fungsi tersebut. Ada tombol pintasnya di kanan bodi dan palang penyangga di belakang bodi. Antena di pojok kanan bawah bodi saat ponsel dalam posisi vertikal memang agak mengganggu; tetapi tidak menjadi masalah bila ponsel sudah diletakkan dalam posisi horisontal.

Kita bisa merekam siaran TV; tinggal pencet tombol tengah navigasi. Perhatikan, kita hanya bisa merekam saat layar dalam moda jendela. Yang menarik perhatian justru adalah pemanfaatan sensor gerak. Layar otomatis berubah horisontal ketika ponsel diletakkan di meja, misalnya. Kita juga bisa pindah saluran hanya dengan mengguncang ponsel.

Sensor gerak ini juga dipakai dalam game, seperti Maze ball dan Constellation mythology. Atau ketika mengganti latar layar. Pengaturan sensor ini dilakukan dari Settings > Phone Setup > Motion Sensor Setting.

Speaker utama ada di kiri-kanan kamera+cermin. Suara, seperti biasa, terdengar nyaring pada volume normal dan cenderung pecah pada volume maksimal. Pilihan lainnya, pakai headset. Jack headset ada di kiri bodi, rukun berdampingan dengan port kabel data. Kedua lubang ini disembunyikan cover karet yang sama. Tombol volume 2-arah ada di kanan bodi, persis bersebelahan dengan tombol TV.

Sementara video bisa direkam dengan File Size Limit dan Rec Time Limit tergantung kapasitas memori yang tersedia. Tentu saja bisa tentukan suara ikut direkam atau tidak. Selain untuk jeprat-jepret, kamera juga bisa dijadikan Webcam ketika ponsel dikoneksi ke PC via kabel data.

Slot MicroSD bisa dijumpai di kiri bodi pula, agak bawah. Pada unit demo, kartu memorinya tidak langsung dikenali sewaktu dipasang. Karena tidak ada fungsi refresh atau plug-n-play, kita harus me-restart ponsel. Koneksi ke PC juga memungkinkan kita memakai ponsel sebagai storage (opsi Mass Storage). Jika MicroSD terpasang, ponsel akan terbaca sebagai 2 drive.

Unit demo yang Sinyal terima memang berwarna putih; tetapi K-Touch menyebutkan akan tersedia pula warna lain.

Desain bagian belakang agak mengingatkan Sinyal pada model iPhone; tapi tentu saja A660 jauh lebih langsing. Ukuran tombol yang besar membuat keypad-nya sangat mudah dipencet. Cara mengunci keypad beda dari biasanya, yaitu pencet End call, lalu Call.

Penempatan stylus di pojok atas kanan bodi sangat mudah dijangkau. Hanya, lubang penyimpanan stylus yang "melubangi" casing membuat kami agak susah mencabut-pasang casing karena casing tersangkut stylus yang sedang mendekam tenang dalam sarangnya. Casing juga menyembunyikan slot MicroSD; kita baru bisa menemukan slot ini di kanan bodi setelah kita membuka casing.Port kabel data bisa ditemukan di kiri bodi; juga tertutup rapi. Koneksi ponsel ke PC via kabel data memungkinkan kita memakai ponsel sebagai storage (USB Config > Mass Storage), webcam (Webcam), modem (COM Port) atau cetak langsung ke printer (PictBridge). Yang terakhir ini tentu saja sangat unik karena bisa langsung koneksi ke printer untuk cetak foto tanpa perantaraan PC.

Kita bisa pakai keypad untuk menyetel setting di Camera, selain dengan mengetuk icon-nya dalam layar. Jika lupa keypad mana untuk setting mana, lihat saja angka di sebelah icon dalam layar.

Video bisa direkam dengan Video Size maksimal CIF 352x288, serta File Size Limit dan REc Time Limit tak terbatas. Tampilan dalam layar Video Player bisa dirotasi sedemikian rupa. Selain untuk memutar video, kita juga bisa pakai Video Player untuk memotret momen khusus dalam video yang sedang diputar. Ada TV Out, lengkap dengan pengaturan Output Format (PAL, NTSC) dan Audio Output (TV, TV and Phone) serta Visual Adjust.

Radio seperti biasa mengharuskan headset tercolok. Tak perlu kuatir melewatkan siaran favorit karena di sini ada Schedule Play yang otomatis mengaktifkan radio sesuai jadwal yang telah kita tentukan. Bila sedang sibuk, rekam saja otomatis pakai Schedule FM Record.

Soal suara, volume gampang diatur dengan tombol volume 2-arah yang ada di kanan bodi. Speaker eksternal ditempatkan di belakang bodi, yang satu dekat kamera dan yang satu lagi dekat pojok bawah. Equalizer di Sound Effect lumayan membantu modifikasi suara agar lebih enak didengar.

Goyang K-Touch masih bertahan. Shake control bisa ditemukan di Alarm, Active Switch Wallpaper By Shaking untuk wallpaper, atau Switch Music By Shaking di Audio Player. K-Touch memasukkan beberapa aplikasi yang biasanya ada di ponsel bisnis buatannya; seperti AntiSteal, Black List, SMS Black List, Private Protect dan InCallLeaveWord. Emotional Impact - Can this photo be described with words of emotion like; peace, calm, anger, rage, joy, or sadness? Does your photo make an emotional statement?
Center of Interest – When composing your images do you successful direct your viewers attention to a specific point? Would the viewer know where your center of interest is?
Illusion of depth – Have you used framing, balance, and contrast and other art concepts to make your image jump off the page, or does it just sit there?
Subject / Background contrast – Shooting a portrait of someone with black hair against a black background in NOT a good idea. Does your subject stand out?
Personal Style – Ansel Adams was known for extreme illusion of depth and all planes in very sharp focus. Jim Zuckerman is known for vibrant colors and simplified subjects within their natural setting. Henri Cartier-Bresson once said, "There is nothing in this world that does not have a decisive moment." How will others describe your unique approach?
Selective Focus – Do you choose where the viewer will look? If the background is just as sharp as the foreground things can become very visually confusing.
Composition – Do you consistently use the rule of thirds, formal or informal balance, and leading lines? Take control of where the viewer’s eyes are most likely to fall in your image.
Exposure – Do you always shoot at whatever the camera says, or do you take control of the light? Can you see details in your shadows? Have you ever used a reflector or bounced a flash as opposed to straight on?
Story Telling – Is there a feeling of movement within your image, or does it just sit there? Does it leave anything to the imagination, or is it just a statement of what is? If your image doesn’t tell a story, there is no reason to give it a second glance. Great photos make you want to look, again and again.

Use this checklist A) to see where you are at the moment and B) to see where your work is going in the future. Having a photographic standard is like having a road map. It's just that many web site owners are getting their Google Adsense account terminated when they have done nothing wrong to deserve this. Considering the money that some of them are receiving from Adsense, they would certainly not want to do anything to jeopardize that income.

The extra money is the reason why people are willing to risk being booted by Google for click fraud. These people know the risks, so I have no sympathy for them, not at all.

So, what is Click fraud? Click fraud is the act of clicking on ads for the purpose of costing the advertiser money. It is simply the same as paying out cash for false leads. As many other webmaster are aware of this problem, that being click fraud, they are of one mind that this is a very big problem which is affecting them all.

So how do you prevent being involved in this fraud?

Bluetooth GPS Receiver Review

This is a tiny bluetooth GPS receiver which I bought from Mobile Fun Ltd, I bought this to connect to my O2 XDA 2i PDA and it cost around £40. I was intially looking on google for cheap GPS receivers and this came up as the cheapest. I thought at that price they'll be a catch, and the catch usually being poor performance, but I was pleasantly surprised! This thing really does work, and works well!

After searching for initial reviews on this device I came up with very little other than the reviews from Mobile Fun Ltd, which I was reluctant to trust for fear of them being somewhat biased. I thought for £40 I'll take a chance and so bought it, all credit to Mobile Fun the receiver arrived the very next morning. Upon opening the box I was a little disappointed, all the there was by means of instructions was a small sheet of paper that had been loosely translated from Japanese to English by a dyslexic toddler. You can download the user manual from here and the Tomtom pairing manual from here. After following these instructions you will have it set up in no time. Another thing I noticed was that there is no manufaturer's name or marks anywhere on the device or the packaging, which makes searching for support quite difficult.

A nice touch with this little device is that it is supplied with a battery that is common to a lot of Nokia phones (3.7V 850mAh Li-polymer battery, BL-5C), a quick search on ebay means that you can get replacement batteries for these receivers for about £4 which is good to know should you need one.

Installation

Provided you follow the limited instructions for pairing with your device, and the Tomtom setup instructions, you should be up and running in less than 5 minutes. I have only charged the receiver once since I bought it about 2 months ago, the battery just seems to last forever! The supplied in car charger and USB cable means that the receiver can be charged on the move from a 12v source and can also be charged from any PC or laptop. From cold start up the receiver aquires a usuable GPS signal exremely quickly, quicker than most of the really expensive GPS receivers that I've come in contact with. The device is extremely small and can easily fit into any space in your car, or even your pocket if you're using it for walking or cycling.

One small problem I did have is that when using it with my XDA 2i the Tomtom software would often freeze and cause me to stop the car, reboot my phone, then carry on my journey. At first I thought this was the result of the XDA losing its connection with the bluetooth receiver and hence confirming my fears about the price of this product. It quickly became apparent that this was not the case and it was in fact an issue with my PDA and the Tomtom software.

I quickly discovered a workaround for this issue between the Tomtom software and my XDA that enables the whole system to work flawlessly. I shall write a 'how to' on this workaround shortly as I'm sure many other XDA 2i users share the same problem.

I do know that there is a known issue when using any bluetooth GPS receivers with the O2 XDA 2 (note not XDA 2i) due to the bluetooth stack settings that are shipped with the phone, please be aware of this before buying this device as you are sure to encounter problems.
